Located directly opposite the newly opened Sunshine Coast University Hospital, within the Pulse building, in the heart of the Oceanside Health Precinct, small scale consultation rooms are now available for lease to allied health practitioners motivated to be in self employed, private practice.
It is envisaged a multidisciplinary allied health practice consisting of an exercise physiologist and massage therapist, will collaborate with other allied health professionals, to enter into a cosignatory lease agreement and establish the first multidisciplinary allied health practice in the precinct.
Modalities ideally suited include:
• Occupational Therapy
Whilst all business structure matters are negotiable, the premise of the practice is based on:
• various complementary modalities sharing a single tenancy for which costs can be shared.
• allowing networking and internal referrals.
• providing for a single referral point for GP’s and other referring practitioners.
Fit out of the premises has not yet been completed so customisation is available to cater for each individual modality’s needs.
The exercise physiologist will provide a fully equipped rehab gym.
The building currently contains several orthopaedic surgeons, a general surgeon, respiratory specialist, with pathology and X-ray and imaging commitments having been made. Additionally, it is estimated that the Sunshine Coast University Hospital will treat approximately 12,000 patients per year, with both it and the private hospital playing host to scores of medical professionals, providing ample opportunity for referrals.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to enter into self employment in private practice or for an established business to expand into a new, and what is sure to be, thriving dedicated medical precinct, touted to be the largest in Australia.
